Search for non-standard neutrino interactions with 10 years of ANTARES data

A bstract Non-standard interactions of neutrinos arising in many theories beyond the Standard Model can significantly alter matter effects atmospheric neutrino propagation through Earth. In this paper, a search for deviations from prediction standard 3-flavour oscillations using data taken by ANTARES telescope is presented. Ten years collected 2007 to 2016, with reconstructed energies range ∼16 GeV 100 GeV, have been analysed. log-likelihood ratio test dimensionless coefficients ε μτ and ττ − μμ does not provide clear evidence interactions. For normal mass ordering, combined fit both yields value 1.7 σ away null result. However, 68% 95% confidence level intervals , respectively, contain value. Best values, one deviation errors bounds at 90% these are given inverted orderings. The constraint on among most stringent date it further restrains strength possible non-standard μ τ sector.
